The name "Alyssa" is a combination of Italian and Filipino name.

In the early nineties, four Italian friends: Gianni, Sandro, Dino and Enrico came to Boracay on a holiday. During their stay, they were fascinated and inspired by the magical charm of the island and the unrivalled friendliness of the locals. The experience of these four Italians was enough to start their dream of having a place in Boracay.
